Where we are
Campo Giglio is located on Italy’s Lake Maggiore (Lago Maggiore, also known as Verbano), a large lake stretching across the south side of the Alps in the Italian regions of Lombardy and Piedmont, and in the Swiss canton of Ticino. The lake is about 65 km long, up to 10 km wide. Its circumference is 185 km. Driving around the entire lake takes over 4 hours.
The village of Germignaga is about 1.5 km away. Here you will find many shops including two bakeries, a pharmacy, the local post office, and several cafés, bars and restaurants. There is also a public beach on Lake Maggiore.
Brezzo di Bedero is a village approx 1.5 km away. There are 2 restaurants and Collegiata di San Vittore il Moro (Canonica Monastery).
With 15,000 inhabitants, Luino is the largest town on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore and is about 3.5 km away.
